PLEASE READ:

If you have come to this site on a web search for beauty or weightloss products -- please do not call us to ask about those products. We do not sell them!

We recently have been receiving many phone calls and emails from people who read posts about a particular product on these discussion boards, and then call us because they think we may somehow sell or be involved with that product.

We only sell Lamas Beauty shampoos and skincare products. For a listing of products we sell, please visit our homepage.

Please do not call us about other products that people may talk about on these discussion boards. Our Customer Service department will not be able to discuss any products with you other than Lamas Beauty products. While people here may discuss or express opinions about other beauty or weightloss products, we have no information or connection with any products but our own, so please do not call us about those other products.

Thank you.

Hi Laura
Using Chi over your previously Liscioed hair won't be a problem because they are both made with thioglycolate.

If the stylist does have enough experience then you could have some problems. They have to protect the ends for one, or at least wipe their hands before taking the next section so that the chemical doesn't get onto the previously relaxed hair.
2 would be knowing how long to leave it on those parts that were underprocessed. 5 minutes may not do it and the chemical should not get onto the hair that is perfectly straight already, not even for 5 minutes.
3 is the ironing. You shouldn't have the iron pressed through the previously TRed hair for very long or the iron will burn the previously straightened hair. This is why alot of people say the Japanese straightener isn't working for them any more and their hair gets dry and poofy. They can't wash and wear their hair because it gets poofy. It's because the stylist is running the hot iron over the previously TRed hair and causing the hair to get burned.
These are just a few things off the top of my head that I can think of. The key is to find someone who understands these things about relaxers so they get perfect results for you time and time again.
Les
