If you have come to this site on a web search for beauty or weightloss products -- please do not call us to ask about those products. We do not sell them!
We recently have been receiving many phone calls and emails from people who read posts about a particular product on these discussion boards, and then call us because they think we may somehow sell or be involved with that product.
We only sell Lamas Beauty shampoos and skincare products. For a listing of products we sell, please visit our homepage.
Please do not call us about other products that people may talk about on these discussion boards. Our Customer Service department will not be able to discuss any products with you other than Lamas Beauty products. While people here may discuss or express opinions about other beauty or weightloss products, we have no information or connection with any products but our own, so please do not call us about those other products.

Your hair is sensitive to the heat from the flat iron. The heat is oxidizing the silver color in
your hair and leaving it yellow. In other words the heat is breaking down the melanin
granules in your hair and bringing out the underlying pigment. (pale yellow) Do you have fine
hair? This happens to medium to fine hairtypes. Thicker hair is more resistant to the heat.
The only way to stop this yellowing is to not use the flat iron or any type of iron. Cooling it
down might solve the problem but I don't think it will get it as straight as your wanting it to
Now, to restore the silvery color in your hair without using harsh chemicals, you can use
ARTec colorist formulation shampoo. It's a shampoo with color in it. The shade you want is
white violet. This shampoo will deposit the pigment that is breaking down when you use the
flat iron. It will bring back the shiny silvery color that you like. Let me know when you find it
and I'll give you the best instructions on how to use it.
If you care more about getting it straight than you care about the color then the yellow will
just make you look like you have pale blond highlights.
Oh, bye the way Denise mentioned cleaning the iron. Thats always a good thing. I just pass a
damp towel over my hot iron and that removes the residue.
