We only sell Lamas Beauty shampoos and skincare products. For a listing of products we sell, please visit our homepage.

Please do not call us about other products that people may talk about on these discussion boards. Our Customer Service department will not be able to discuss any products with you other than Lamas Beauty products. I have been using Inoa for the past month in the salon and I can ket you know my opinion so
far.I have not pulled permanent color through for the last 20 yeasr because of the ammonia
content. What ammonia does is open the cuticle and deposit a color molecule that has been
artificial expanded by use of viscosity boosters. As the color wears, the molecule shrinks and
the color washes away. After repeated applicaitons of ammonia based color the cuticle swells
to such a degree it will not close again. This is why sometimes you will see hair where the
ends are a much lighter shade a week after color.
As a colorist for 30 years I believe that not having Ammonia is a GREAT advance. Up unti;
know the problem has been how to get the molecule into the cortex without blasting the
hair. Loreil has come up with a oil delivery system that wraps the hair in oil that helps to
force the color deep into the cortex. Repeated applications will help to restore the cuticle and
restore the lipid level in the hair .
So far I have noticed a marked differnece in the quality of the after Inoa. Hair that has
previously been resistant to a consistent result from root to end has been coming out perfect.
I have been blending the color through for the entire tme to get the most effect.I will
probably pull torugh pieces every time in order to achieve a dimensional look and re-evaluate
in a few months.
The technology is new, other companies will be comparing MEA to Ammonia on their
websites quoting leaders in the industry. It is MUCH more than the MEA that accounts for the
results of INOA.
I also use the Wella in the salon. It is an opaque color. That is why the shine seems to fade. It
is great for lowlites and coveringt grey, not so much for shine. For a shiny result I would use
Redken Shades EQ, This is a low ph transluscent haircolor that will close the cuticle and
increase light reflection for up to 4 weeks.
I will keep up on the progress as more personal info becomes available. So far I give INOA a
a+
