Do you know what Japanese system you have been getting? Does your stylist do a lot of hair straightening? If you are very curly and your hair is not porous you will not get the same result with a keratin treatment as with a good TR. You probably will have to still blowdry to get the curl out. It will not hurt the hair to do a TR(Japanese) over the Copolla since keratin treatments do not change the inner structure of the hair. Keratin treatments will help to control frizz and will make the hair smoother but it will not be as care free as a good TR.
