I had three NanoMax treatments in NYC after bad breakeage following a TR. I felt they helped a lot.
One year later now, I wanted to do another course of the three treatments and rather than travelling three times, I thought it would be more cost-efficient to purchase the machine for my salon. Sounds crazy, i know, but that's what I did!
Tonight I had my first treatment. My stylist had spoken to the distributor and I thought everything would be fine. When he first turned on the machine it didn't sound like it did in NYC last year. It let out some bubbles but not a lot of mist. The distributor had said i'd need less than 4 ml. for my whole head but the 4 ml. tube was used up after only the bottom portion of my hair (about a quarter of my hair)was completed. My stylist then re-filled the machine and did the rest of my hair, but this time the machine sounded normal and he only had to use 2 ml. for the rest of my head (both phases).
The bottom portion (the one that got most of the product)also ended up feeling very matted and sticky. The rest of my hair feels o.k.
So ... long story short ... do you think that the stickiness, matting is due to over-keritinization, or do you think this feeling will go away after washing.
I need to know ASAP. I hate to wash away any possible benefits of this very expensive treatment,BUT if it is going to make my hair stiff and brittle due to too much protein, I'd rather just wash right now.
Please let me know as soon as possible. Thanks so much!!!!!
