Subject: Really frizzy roots

I just got a TR (Yuko) last week, and my hair looks and feels great (really soft).....but my stubborn little roots are still pretty frizzy....this is what happens after every TR.
It's hard to get a flat iron that close to my scalp in order to smooth them down, so is there anything that I can do? My hair is still pretty curly too, so I'm thinking about getting a BKT (Global Keratin) over my TR'd hair just to smooth and straighten my hair even more. So can a BKT be applied really close to the scalp in order to smooth my frizzy roots? I know my roots aren't frizzy because of damage....my hair is naturally frizzy and I've always had that problem, even as a kid.
I've tried to use wax on the frizzy roots, but that just makes my hair greasy. So, I'd love to know if a BKT would do the trick?
