My first recommendation is, after your BKT starts to wear off, have a biolustre treatment which will help to rebuild your hair. Try to find a healthier color alternative or maybe a stylist that will not overlap the highlights. I am not saying I don't want you to be a blonde bombshell, but if your hair is this damaged you have to start making changes to save your hair. As far as shampoo and conditioners go, there are many out there now without sodium chloride such as Pureology, S-Factor, AG color care, etc. You also mentioned a curse word to me, "Pantene", LOL. I have been a stylist for 18 years, and every time a client had a problem with dry frizzy hair, they were using some Pantene product at home. They have great marketing but their products are some of the worst on the market. Try Nigelle AX B+ treatment or Rona Gentil treatment for a really good conditioner. Most stylist that do thermal reconditioning will have some really good shampoos and conditioners. Keep using the heat protectant before styling and make sure your iron is not too hot for your hair. Ok now I will get off my soapbox, I just want you to have healthy hair again.
