I had my hair colored on Tuesday and had mentioned to my stylist that I wanted to switch from 20 vol. Aloxxi(the color she had been special ordering for me) to 20 vol. Schwarzkopf (the color her salon normally uses). My intent was just to switch the BRAND of color and not the TYPE. However, I think she misunderstood and i didn't realize until halfway through that she had used semi permanant color instead of permanent. She knew that I wanted a color that was healthier for my hair, so I guess she just assumed that I wanted to switch to one with less amonia/peroxide.
Anyway, the semi color covered most of my hair, but did not work at all on the crown -- the most visible part of my hair. She immediately went back over it with a colored gloss, which she said was non-damaging. This seemed to give me pretty good coverage initially but washed out after two washes.
So my question is ...I am really nervous about putting any more color on my hair. I already have the semi with the gloss over it. Do you think that going over it with semi one more time would give me full coverage or should I go back to my original (20 volume) color?
