If you have come to this site on a web search for beauty or weightloss products -- please do not call us to ask about those products. We do not sell them!

We recently have been receiving many phone calls and emails from people who read posts about a particular product on these discussion boards, and then call us because they think we may somehow sell or be involved with that product.

We only sell Lamas Beauty shampoos and skincare products. For a listing of products we sell, please visit our homepage.

Please do not call us about other products that people may talk about on these discussion boards. Our Customer Service department will not be able to discuss any products with you other than Lamas Beauty products. While people here may discuss or express opinions about other beauty or weightloss products, we have no information or connection with any products but our own, so please do not call us about those other products.

Thank you.

Subject: DENISE-What is best for very long 4a hair-BKT or Tanagra?
Date: December 22, 2008 at 9:50 am PST

Im have 4a afro hair, which i have been growing in braids for years and it is nearly down to my waist. It will be in about 8months anyway. My problem is I had it very long before and decided to texturize it myself using a Thio relaxer it worked for a while but after the second time it went extremely porous and started breaking from the ends.So I grew it back again! So now I want to know what it best for my hair? I dont want stick straight hair, I just want hair that is manageable without using loads of heat. Obviously health is the main thing that keeps it manageable. I thought I could either do two things-
1. Get a thio relaxer again but do it professionally. Then get a course of 3 Tanagra treatments to undo the damage.
2 get A BKT, but leave the hair underneath natural. My hair is been braided for a while so is quite porous.

Which do you think is better? Also Ive heard a lot of people have had BKT then there hair become very brittle and broken? obviously as my sort of hair is so hard to grow I cant risk this. If the BKT does not work well, could i just wash my hair a lot to take removing the coating of product?
