If you have come to this site on a web search for beauty or weightloss products -- please do not call us to ask about those products. We do not sell them!

We recently have been receiving many phone calls and emails from people who read posts about a particular product on these discussion boards, and then call us because they think we may somehow sell or be involved with that product.

We only sell Lamas Beauty shampoos and skincare products. For a listing of products we sell, please visit our homepage.

Please do not call us about other products that people may talk about on these discussion boards. Our Customer Service department will not be able to discuss any products with you other than Lamas Beauty products. While people here may discuss or express opinions about other beauty or weightloss products, we have no information or connection with any products but our own, so please do not call us about those other products.

Thank you.

Subject: Please Help! Major breakage and hair loss after Bio Ionic Treatment
Date: December 8, 2008 at 5:54 pm PST

Hello there. I recently had my hair thermally straightened (about 3 wks ago) and the stylist used the Bio Ionic Retex line. My hair starting falling out the first few days, but I thought it was normal. Since then it has gotten excessive! I can't walk down the hallway of my house without leaving a trail of hair on the floor. I have peach-fuzz throughout the left side of my hair and just discovered a bald/peach-fuzz area on my upper left side (just below my crown)...it is about half the size of my palm. I am just sick over this and hope that I can do something to stop the hair breakage.

I called the stylist to tell her of my hair loss and she said that she would call the distributor. After speaking to the distributor she said that they said it could be a number of reasons (i.e. like the fact that I just had a baby 4 months ago, vitamins, etc.) I told her that I did research online and found that the 1st solution should not have been on my scalp. She said that if she didn't do that, it would look like I had bad re-growth.

She has offered for me to come in and recondition my hair, but I am nervous about having her handle my hair again. She has offered a refund. Should I just take the refund and try to fix my hair myself?

What are some good conditioners/treatments that I can do at home to try to save the hair I have left.

Please help. I am really scared and want to try to stop the breakage/hair loss immediately.

Thank you for your time in reading this and any advice you may have. I really appreciate it.

Kind regards,
