Hi,

I'm wondering if anybody has had the formaldehyde-free coppola smoothing therapy and can compare the results to that of the Marcia Tiexiera formula. Which one leaves the hair shinier and healthier? I'm not so much concerned about having my hair super straight and don't mind if it only lasts a few months. I just want it to be healthy and frizz-free.

Is Keratin really the only straightening agent in the Coppola formula or is it some other "aldehyde"?

Also, the salon I spoke to about Coppola said that it's important to use the coppola shamp./cond. afterwards. Not sure if this is just a way to milk as much money as possible from the client or not. The stylist I spoke to said that she had Coppola on her own hair and tried another shamp./cond. w/o sulfates. She feels that the straightener definitely started to wear off mor quickly after that.

Any insight anybody could offer about the differences in the two formulas would be apreciated!
