Smooth Control is a traditional TR, but pressed in thicker sections. You may have some movement still in the hair but most of the frizz is gone. The hair will not be as sleek as a full TR. With a CDR, it is done similarly to a TR although the main ingredient is different(it is not thio based). If done properly, the hair is straight and sleek but has swing and movement. It works best on wavy to medium curly frizzy hair. It works nicely on color treated hair that is not heavily hi-lited. These processes can be done on your regrowth area. You should have at least 4 inches of growth. It will not change your previously straightened hair since the processes are only done on your new growth. Find a qualified TR stylist to do either process. Good Luck with your decision.
