Hi Too Straight,
OMG I don't know where to start, yes you can have the CDR with an experienced stylist. It gives the hair more body and swing if done correctly. Any of the systems can be a disaster with an inexperienced stylist. Smooth control is also an option that gives a little more body and movement. Hair that has been TR'd can not be texturized, it creates a mess because of the compressed cuticle. Never have razor cuts or heavy layering done on TR'd hair. The CDR or Smooth Control cannot change the ends of your hair since TR is a permanent system. You can get more body at the root with one of these options and perhaps grow into one of the new systems. CDR is not like a BKT in that it does not wear off, the bonds are altered as in the Japanese sytems. You will need to get the roots touched up in 6 mos or so. Where are you located?
