LamasBeauty.com | Back to Discussion Board
If you have come to this site on a web search for beauty or weightloss products -- please do not call us to ask about those products. We do not sell them!
We recently have been receiving many phone calls and emails from people who read posts about a particular product on these discussion boards, and then call us because they think we may somehow sell or be involved with that product.
We only sell Lamas Beauty shampoos and skincare products. For a listing of products we sell, please visit our homepage.
Please do not call us about other products that people may talk about on these discussion boards. Our Customer Service department will not be able to discuss any products with you other than Lamas Beauty products. While people here may discuss or express opinions about other beauty or weightloss products, we have no information or connection with any products but our own, so please do not call us about those other products.

Hi DC Girl,
It would be hard to figure out what was not right, without all of the information.
There are so many variables involved with chemical processes.
I can think of a few...
1. Condition of the hair
2. Product used
3. Are support products used during the process?
4. Hair Color History
5. Is a protection cream used for touch ups?
6. Level of training
7. Stylist experience/knowledge
Each and every head of hair is different and we have to adjust everything accordingly. Even on the same client we must make constant changes according to the present condition of their hair.
Japanese thermal reconditioning/hair straightening gets a bad rap a great deal of the time because touch ups are not being done properly.
Clients are opting for different forms of straightening which are not permanent, and are not pleased because they do not last as long, yet almost cost as much.
Sometimes clients may not be happy because the stylist did not inform the client honestly of the results to be expected.
The bottom line is ... the healthier the hair, the better the results.
The more experienced the stylist, the better the results.
The quality of the system used, the better the results.
