LamasBeauty.com | Back to Discussion Board
If you have come to this site on a web search for beauty or weightloss products -- please do not call us to ask about those products. We do not sell them!
We recently have been receiving many phone calls and emails from people who read posts about a particular product on these discussion boards, and then call us because they think we may somehow sell or be involved with that product.
We only sell Lamas Beauty shampoos and skincare products. For a listing of products we sell, please visit our homepage.
Please do not call us about other products that people may talk about on these discussion boards. Our Customer Service department will not be able to discuss any products with you other than Lamas Beauty products. While people here may discuss or express opinions about other beauty or weightloss products, we have no information or connection with any products but our own, so please do not call us about those other products.

The first step does break the bonds using cysteamine HCL. So it has to swell the cuticle to enter the internal structure.
If the hair is healthy and not very stubborn, it works well.
It is an alternative product. Everything done by this can be done with a cysteamine perm and additives. But they put it in a nice package for everyone.
I think it works best on lightly damaged hair with color or bleach that is not long and gets cut frequently.
Yes, fine hair is flat afterwards.
When hair is bleached or high lifted, disulfide bonds are destroyed, not broken. We can only restructure the bonds that are left in the hair.
That is why you can't straighten or perm bleached hair and have it look good. Much depends on the strength of the hair too.
One of the reasons that the traditional relaxers are so unpopular is that instead of breaking and restructuring the bonds, they destroy the bonds. That is why relaxed (sodium chloride) hair does not act like real hair.
