You should not have to spend a lot of time styling your hair after the TR. This is the reason you have it done. If you have only single process haircolor and it is not pulled thru the ends, I see no reason you shouldn't have pretty much wash and go hair. Sounds like you were under processed or ironed improperly. It is hard to tell without looking at it. I don't know anyone in your area, but maybe someone else on the panel might know a salon in the DC area. I would call Milbon or Shiseido and ask them for salons that use their products. Go for some consultations at the salons and feel them out.
