From: Jennie (67.84.123.229) I have been going to the same hairdresser for over 12 yrs and I love her. She is always ALWAYS packed with appointments! However, I have only had cuts and blows and a few up do's done with her. I always talk to her about getting my hair straightened. As the warmer weather is coming, and it's not even THAT hot out yet, I'm already getting annoyed & Frustrated with blowing out my hair in the morning before work. Getting up earlier to do it, etc.. you know how it is.... Summer is coming and you know what that means! Spend all that extra time doing your hair in the morning, only to walk outside and 20 minutes later have a brillo pad on your head!! lolol. So, I finally decided to do it! I just made an appointment yesterday. However, I'm a really nervous about it. Actually, chicken is better word! Whenever I talk to her about a straightening, she says she uses a few different ones on her customers that get it done. Yesterday when I called to make an appointment, I had aksed what she uses (she was really busy when I was talking to her and so was I, at work) she said, one of the ones she uses was a Paul mitchell straightener. However, she didn't mention any others she uses. The only product I found online when trying to do some research that PM makes is this and not much else: http://jbktrading.stores.yahoo.net/pamiprre64oz.html Has anyone ever heard of this product? Any good/bad? I did find a few (very few) posts around the internet where women were saying they loved it. I'm going in for a strand test plus she says she is going to test my hair's elsticity, etc before she does it and I wont have to do a touch up for at least 6 months. Any advise would be helpful! I'm 34 and have been blowing my hair out since I was 14 (thats 20 yrs and I just dont have the time OR energy anymore to be bothered. A little info about my hair: It's Very Dark, almost black. I have grays although very few so I use Semi-permanent hair color (natural instincts) once a month. My Hair is very wavy, not curly. However, it is very shiney. I blow my hair out every day and finish off with a little bit of flat ironing to smooth it out. I then use a drop of Biosilk to add extra shine. My hair is in really good shape considering all I put it through with the blow outs and ironing and I wash it every single day (I have oily hair so I have to) I use Matrix Biolage Hydratherapie shampoo and conditioner everyday since I was high shcool so I don't skimp on products. So with all that, what should I do? Thanks in advance!!
