If you have come to this site on a web search for beauty or weightloss products -- please do not call us to ask about those products. We do not sell them!
We recently have been receiving many phone calls and emails from people who read posts about a particular product on these discussion boards, and then call us because they think we may somehow sell or be involved with that product.
We only sell Lamas Beauty shampoos and skincare products. For a listing of products we sell, please visit our homepage.
Please do not call us about other products that people may talk about on these discussion boards. Our Customer Service department will not be able to discuss any products with you other than Lamas Beauty products. While people here may discuss or express opinions about other beauty or weightloss products, we have no information or connection with any products but our own, so please do not call us about those other products.

Subject: Bad TR!!! Follow up with Denise. Please help!!!

I have posted a message last week, just wanted to follow up with you since I am really desperate for your help. Here is my original post:
I had a TR done about a year ago. I think the stylist left the solution on for too long, my hair turned yellow (I am Asian with dark hair) and it's all damaged. I have been trying to grow it out for the last year which is a very painful process since I look like I have an afro every time I wash it.
Only about 2 inches of my hair now is healthy (from the scalp), the rest is all frizzy, wavy, dry, brittle and lots of breakage. I have to use a flat iron every time just to look presentable. It's taking me too much time to style my hair and I can't wait forever for it to grow out. Should I have another TR done (with a different stylist) or should I chop it off? I really don't want to chop off my hair but I am afraid that doing another TR on top of damaged hair will make it even worse. Please advise. I wish you guys are in CA so I can come for consultation.
Here is your response:
I would definitely suggest not doing another TR at this time.
Where in CA are you? There are other options for your hair, such as a Keratin Straightener.
I have to say that I have never heard of someones hair turning yellow.
Do you recall what product or procedure was used?
It is important to find someone who is experienced and can help guide you down the right path to get your hair in shape. Having chemicals put on top of a bad TR is not a good idea.
There are reconstruction options as well, but you need to use the right products.
Tell me where you are located and hopefully we can find someone relatively close to you that can help.
Here is my response to your questions:
Thank you so much for responding. If I remember correctly, the brand of the product that was used on my hair is ISO. They brushed the product on my hair which was sectioned on pieces of long plastic. I think after 2 hours, they washed it off, blow dry, then straight ironed, then repeat the same process (with different solution??). The whole thing took about 4 hours. At that time, I didn't ask any question since I completely trusted my stylist. I have been seeing her for the last 7 years or so. Now that I have read the TR information on this board, I realized that she wasn't as experienced as I have thought since she did a few things that she was not supposed to do (ie. cut the hair with the razor afterward, applied the TR solution at the root of the hair, etc..)
I am in San Jose, CA. If you could give me a referral for an experienced stylist, I would be forever grateful.
Sorry for the long message. I look forward to seeing your referrals
