If you have come to this site on a web search for beauty or weightloss products -- please do not call us to ask about those products. We do not sell them!

We recently have been receiving many phone calls and emails from people who read posts about a particular product on these discussion boards, and then call us because they think we may somehow sell or be involved with that product.

We only sell Lamas Beauty shampoos and skincare products. For a listing of products we sell, please visit our homepage.

Please do not call us about other products that people may talk about on these discussion boards. Our Customer Service department will not be able to discuss any products with you other than Lamas Beauty products. While people here may discuss or express opinions about other beauty or weightloss products, we have no information or connection with any products but our own, so please do not call us about those other products.

Thank you.

To further elaborate on what Denise is saying...many manufacturers are totally misleading consumers and STYLISTS about the ingredients in their products. The science of permanent hair coloring is rather simple. The product Must have ammonia AND peroxide in order to swell the cuticle, disperse the melanin, lift and deposit color. When they claim that their product is Ammonia Free, they are using another form of ammmonia, which as known as Monoethanolamine or MEA's. The problem with MEA is that unlike ammonia, it doesn't have a strong odor, but where ammonia is only 1%...MEA is 10% ammonia. It does not rinse out of the hair and is actually reactivated every time the hair is shampooed. The only problem with ammonia is it has a pungent odor, but otherwise it is the safest and most effective agent used.

I agree with Denise that you should follow your Dr's orders; however, we have often commented that we both did tons haircoloring on our own heads and others during our pregnancies and all 5 kids are perfectly normal!!!
