If you have come to this site on a web search for beauty or weightloss products -- please do not call us to ask about those products. We do not sell them!
We recently have been receiving many phone calls and emails from people who read posts about a particular product on these discussion boards, and then call us because they think we may somehow sell or be involved with that product.
We only sell Lamas Beauty shampoos and skincare products. For a listing of products we sell, please visit our homepage.
Please do not call us about other products that people may talk about on these discussion boards. Our Customer Service department will not be able to discuss any products with you other than Lamas Beauty products. Subject: questions about digital perms
Date: September 14, 2007 at 10:48 am PST
i've found a salon in my area that can do digital perms (thanks to adamn), and i have an appt tomorrow at 11am. but before i go in, i'm trying to find out as much info as possible.
i have long, naturally straight hair. think native american. it's very healthy. i only get a few split ends every now and then that i manually trim. having said this, i'm obviously concerned about any damage that can be done to my hair by doing a perm.
so are there any big risks? i've read that it lasts anywhere from 3-6 mos (and one person said hers lasted 8 months) which would be good if i don't like it or just prefer straight.. but i'm curious to find out how it "uncurls". basically, what is the transition like from the digiperm back to your normal hair. is it messy/frizzy?
also, can i flat iron my hair if i get a digital perm, or will it ruin the curls?
