PLEASE READ:

If you have come to this site on a web search for beauty or weightloss products -- please do not call us to ask about those products. We do not sell them!

We recently have been receiving many phone calls and emails from people who read posts about a particular product on these discussion boards, and then call us because they think we may somehow sell or be involved with that product.

We only sell Lamas Beauty shampoos and skincare products. For a listing of products we sell, please visit our homepage.

Please do not call us about other products that people may talk about on these discussion boards. Our Customer Service department will not be able to discuss any products with you other than Lamas Beauty products. While people here may discuss or express opinions about other beauty or weightloss products, we have no information or connection with any products but our own, so please do not call us about those other products.

Thank you.

Subject: Confused on all different relaxing options - pros please!!

Milbon Smooth Control, Matrix Opti-smooth, mini TR - what's the difference between all of these. I posted before and want to relax my very thick stubborn "S" shaped waves/frizz. My hair is cut into a layered shag so I don't want to go pin straight but I don't want the waves and volume I have. I've gotten relaxers over the years (maybe thio?) before my TR 2 yrs ago and they never lasted more than a few months before my hair waved up again. The TR lasted till it grew out. If these newer things use the same chemicals, is the only difference not using flat irons? I just want the staying power of a TR with a little bit of body. I've read on the Matrix website that the cold process lasts several months, not permanently. If it's not permanent, do they just treat over the same hair when doing a touch up unlike a TR where the previously treated hair is protected and not treated. Isn't that more damaging?

Sorry for all the questions and I know I've posted this before but I find it all so confusing and don't kwow what to ask for. Also, I'm in central NJ and going to NYC is not easy for me with two preschoolers. Any rec's near Red Bank, NJ or anywhere in NJ? Someone was kind enough to recommend Gemini but NYC is tough.

I loved my TR and want something similar minus the flatness which won't look flattering with my cut. Thanks for any help in explaining the differences.
