If you have come to this site on a web search for beauty or weightloss products -- please do not call us to ask about those products. We do not sell them!
We recently have been receiving many phone calls and emails from people who read posts about a particular product on these discussion boards, and then call us because they think we may somehow sell or be involved with that product.
We only sell Lamas Beauty shampoos and skincare products. For a listing of products we sell, please visit our homepage.
Please do not call us about other products that people may talk about on these discussion boards. Our Customer Service department will not be able to discuss any products with you other than Lamas Beauty products. While people here may discuss or express opinions about other beauty or weightloss products, we have no information or connection with any products but our own, so please do not call us about those other products.

It's not approved by the FDA here in the USA . It's from brazil. The effects of this straightening treatment will last 3 months. Once it wears off the hair looks more damaged than before. The more damaged the hair is the longer it will last. It doesn't work well on healthy hair. The reason its illegal in the states and most stylist don't use it is because the active ingredient that gets the hair straight is formaldehyde. They tell you it's a protein straight treatment but its not. I think you should look up what the effects that formaldehyde can cause on the skin and the sinuses. You should also look up the effects of sodium sulfate and formaldehyde. Especially if they're telling you not to use products with sodium sulfate. Most shampoos are made with sodium lauryl sulfates.
I had one of my Brazilian clients bring it to me when she came back from one of her trips. After I experimented with it I decided it wasn't worth the risk. We have to smell a lot of different chemicals in the salon and I didn't want to risk anyone in my staff getting sick. Find out exactly what they're using in your hair girl!
There is only one strength for the Brazilian Keratin Treatment.
The product smells and we work in a well ventilated area. It's very important because I've heard of a Brazilian stylist who's been using this product for a long time and now has lung cancer. So it can fool you into thinking it's harmless because the smell isn't that bad. Stylists should use masks and wear gloves.
Working with gloves and a mask is very important. You don't want to get the fumes of this product in your sinuses or your eyes.
My stylist and I agree that the Brazilian Keratin Treatment works. Very very well.
We have discussions about all the results and we're convinced that we have a new tool against
frizzy or curly hair. At the same time we're protecting ourselves and the client by working in a
well ventilated area and offering the client a mask as well.
