I found tons of info when I searched Escova de Chocolate, but most info was in portuguese:
The chocolate relaxer is the new weapon to tame curly hair, to define clusters and to smooth. The technique uses a chocoalte base to hidrate and reduce frizziness. The procedure is similar to the Keratin Relaxer, with the difference that does not have formaldehyde in the formula.
The hairdresser Brigitte Revollo, of the hall Bigitte Fine Arts, Rio De Janeiro, uses this technique has three months and explains that the used product in the chocolate brush is formulated with liquid keratin, protein of the silk and natural cousins to the extracts of cacao and caffeine.
“The cacao and the caffeine are acid rich substances that supply to emmolience and nutrition to curls.
In each type of hair the effect produced is different. According to Bigitte, the chocolate relaxer in kinky or very curly hair tames curls and defines the curls. The treatment also can be used on previously relaxed hair. “The chocolate relaxer creates looser curls and improves the appearance of the hair."
The effect of the rleaxer of chocolate lasts about 60 days. The treatment takes about two hours to do.
After made the treatment hair cannot be washed or bent for three days.
