If people who weren't hairdressers refrained from posting on this board then the board would be riddled with misinformation. It isn't misinformation simply because you don't understand or it don't agree with it.
I did talk to the BKT people who said they do sell a particular shampoo for people who exercise/sweat often.
Also, they did say that if you're consistently saturating your hair with sweat it won't last as long as someone who is fairly sedentary.
and keep in mind that sodium chloride is SALT. That is what SWEAT is - sodium chloride:
Sweating (also called perspiration or sometimes transpiration) is the loss of a watery fluid, consisting mainly of sodium chloride and urea in solution, that is secreted by the sweat glands in the skin of mammals. Sweat also consist of the chemicals or odorants 2-methylphenol and 4-methyphenol.
Please do not discourage people who have hair not to post simply because they didn't go to beauty school. People who have had chemical treatments and sweat notice a huge difference in their hair compared to when they don't sweat it up.
Unless you have experimented both ways, as many of us have, you really can't talk. It is purely just conjecture at this point.
Sweat is sodium chloride which we were clearly told not to expose our hair to.
