LamasBeauty.com | Back to Discussion Board
If you have come to this site on a web search for beauty or weightloss products -- please do not call us to ask about those products. We do not sell them!
We recently have been receiving many phone calls and emails from people who read posts about a particular product on these discussion boards, and then call us because they think we may somehow sell or be involved with that product.
We only sell Lamas Beauty shampoos and skincare products. For a listing of products we sell, please visit our homepage.
Please do not call us about other products that people may talk about on these discussion boards. Our Customer Service department will not be able to discuss any products with you other than Lamas Beauty products. While people here may discuss or express opinions about other beauty or weightloss products, we have no information or connection with any products but our own, so please do not call us about those other products.

My concern here is that the person doing your TR should have all of these answers for you. These questions should have been covered at your consultation.
Going out in the humidity is fine, just try to stay in the A/C as much as possible. During the first 48 hours you can use a lightly heated iron to iron the hair. Be sure to follow the comb so that you do not iron tangled hair.
I would wait a full week before swimming, ocean or pool.
Wait at least 1 week for a pony, 10 days for a tight one. 2 days for a really loose one.
Use a good professional moisturizing/smoothing shampoo and conditioner.
Comb your conditioner through with a wide tooth comb before rinsing. Do that EVERY time you shampoo.
Use a smoothing cream or gel
Use heat protection before drying and ironing.
There are many wonderful products out there. Check with your stylist as to what you will need. Many products can be too strong or weak for your hair. It depends on the length, thickness, condition of the hair, if you have natural oils, how you want to wear your hair, lifestyle, how often you shampoo, if you color your hair.
There are so many variables in choosing the proper products.
Ask your stylist if they guarantee the products they sell. I always tell my clients that I will switch out their product if it does not perform the way I/they want it to. I work with them to find the proper products for their hair. I will never make them pay for or keep a product that does not do the job.
Everyyone with curly/frizzy hair has a bathroom full of products that did not work.
