LamasBeauty.com | Back to Discussion Board
If you have come to this site on a web search for beauty or weightloss products -- please do not call us to ask about those products. We do not sell them!
We recently have been receiving many phone calls and emails from people who read posts about a particular product on these discussion boards, and then call us because they think we may somehow sell or be involved with that product.
We only sell Lamas Beauty shampoos and skincare products. For a listing of products we sell, please visit our homepage.
Please do not call us about other products that people may talk about on these discussion boards. Our Customer Service department will not be able to discuss any products with you other than Lamas Beauty products. While people here may discuss or express opinions about other beauty or weightloss products, we have no information or connection with any products but our own, so please do not call us about those other products.

As a professional, I will always prefer my clients use the products that I recommend. As Jan said, there is a plethora of professional products to choose from.
Each professional tests and uses products on a daily basis and becomes educated in those product lines. That is why you will see different Pros recommend different products. I know I am always testing new products. I do not like to recommend a product that I do not have experience with or knowledge of its results or ingredients.
We do not have knowledge of the drug store products, their results or their ingredients. Therefore, we will not recommend them. The difference in price is not that great.
I can never understand why someone would spend a lot of money on straightening their hair, or having a beautiful color done, and NOT use what the stylist recommends. The difference in price is the cost of one Latte. Go figure. People do not think of spending that type of money on a coffee one time, yet won't spend it on a product that will be used every day for a couple of months!!!
The drug store and grocery store products do not have the high quality of ingredients that the salon professional products do.
Also, be concerned about "Salon only" products purchased anywhere other than a salon. These products are illegally diverted, bogus, counterfit, expired, etc. Many times the products go to other countries and sit there waiting to be sold to the grocery store.
When you buy products anywhere other than the Salon, you do not support your stylist or the Salon.
I always tell my clients that purchasing their products through me provides a level of income to the salon. That income comes back to them in their experience at the salon, through gourmet coffee, soft toilet paper, the latest magazines, snacks, etc etc etc.
The more money a salon makes, the more they can spend on everything, including educating their stylists in the latest techniques and products.
Please go full circle at your salon and purchase your products from your stylist.
