I am wondering if anyone on the board has had a problem with dry, stiff hair after BKT. I have naturally dry, course hair that is colored and was damaged by TR abut 9 months ago. I've had two BKT's so far (at two salons recommended on this board). The first one was o.k. at first but after about 4 weeks, my hair started to feel dry and stiff. I thought that the texture was due to the fact that the product was wearing off so I decided to get another BKT. This one felt fine until the first wash. After that, my hair, although straighter, felt even more dry and stiff. I've also had some breakage. Could this be due to my hair having too much keratin in it. I have followed all instructions for BKT (no sodium chloride or laulyl sulfate) and waited the full 4 days both times.
