If you have come to this site on a web search for beauty or weightloss products -- please do not call us to ask about those products. We do not sell them!

We recently have been receiving many phone calls and emails from people who read posts about a particular product on these discussion boards, and then call us because they think we may somehow sell or be involved with that product.

We only sell Lamas Beauty shampoos and skincare products. For a listing of products we sell, please visit our homepage.

Please do not call us about other products that people may talk about on these discussion boards. Our Customer Service department will not be able to discuss any products with you other than Lamas Beauty products. While people here may discuss or express opinions about other beauty or weightloss products, we have no information or connection with any products but our own, so please do not call us about those other products.

Thank you.

Subject: Experts please... Had 1st BKT done... have several questions!!!
Date: July 4, 2007 at 2:39 pm PST

I just had my first BKT done on Friday. The hairdresser I did it with told me not to wash for two days and that I could put my hair up in a ponytail or however I wanted. I have read a few messages on the board and see that most of them say you can't wash for 4 days and you can't put your hair in a pony tail or use clips. I waited 3 days instead of 2 and kept my hair down.

I'm satisfied with the results, but they're not what I expected. My main concern was to have frizzless hair. (I have long hair, pretty wavy and very frizzy if I don't do anything to it.) My hair is still quite frizzy in the front, but not as much as before. Definitely not wash 'n go hair.

A cousin of mine had it done in Ecuador and her hair is now completely frizzless with a bit of a wave. I am not sure if it is always supposed to turn out completely frizzless, or for others it takes a couple of times.

My hairstylist did tell me that the more often I do it, the better the result. She also said it should last about a month and a half, and on this message board I've seen about 3 months or so.

Also, the whole formaldehyde issue deeply concerns me. Does anyone have more specific info on the results of inhaling the fumes, and the effect of formaldehyde in your hair? I would really love to continue using this treatment, especially if the results will get better and better, but am not willing to risk my health.

Thank you!
