Subject: I think i have some "bends"
Date: June 24, 2007 at 7:08 pm PST
I got the istraight done to my hair about a week and a half ago. I noticed after my first wash, that on the on the top of my head, along the left side of where i part my hair, I may have the "bends" (I think i may be in denile, the hair feels and looks like its bent at a 90 degree angle..). Its not that much. The rest of my hair is perfect, wash and go!
Now, i'm reading that there's a good chance that the hairs that have the bends may break off. I wouldnt care so much, but the bends i have are located right where i part my hair, as such, it'd would be very noticable if my hair broke off right there. anywhere else, it wouldn't be noticable b/c its really not that much hair that has the bends.
So what should i do....?
Is there really a good chance that if I do nothing, my hair will break off at the bends? -the hairs with the bends feel pretty strong still, i've tried pulling them and they don't break off...and i've pulled pretty hard.
What if I just leave it the way it is and wait until my next istraight in like 4-6 months? Will i be able to flat iron the bends when my hair growns out more and they become more noticable?
Should i contact the stylist and tell her about this?
i really dont have any more money to spend on my hair to fix this problem, i already spent $350 (not including tip) on the istraight and that was a lot for me!!!!!
Is there a cheap/free way to fix the bends?!!?!?!?
