Subject: Poor results at Patrick Evans Hair Salon
Body of Message:
I am very surprised with the reviews of Patrick Evans Hair Salon, and I am wondering if the people who give his salon such great reviews have ever had a good TR, or if there hair is simply wavy and easy to process. I have had 7 previous TRs during the past 5 years with superior results. Most of these TRs were at Hyato in NYC for a fraction of the price.
To make a long story short, I went to Patrick Evans early in June, and one of the people he is now training TRed my hair. My hair was gnerally in good condition. A few months ago I had a temporary rinse put in my hair, and I sometimes swim. Besides this, I take great care of my hair between TRs, use great products, and let it air dry most of the time, subjecting it to little stress.
The TR did not work. When I went back to the salon, Patrick relectantly agreed that parts needed to be redone, though he blamed it on the condition of my hair. I returned to the salon for a touch-up, and again I ended up with less than optimal results. Parts of my hair are still clearly under-processed. I have about two inches of wave around my roots in some parts, a big bend in my bangs, and a line demarcatng previous and new TR etc... Mind you; most of the existing problems are in virgin, and not previously processed hair. On top of this, he is very arrogant and not willing to listen to what a client has to say.
This is the last time I will go to Patrick Evans...For these results, I could have paid a couple of hundred dollars somewhere in Japan Town.
