Subject: Had BKT -- Need good in-salon conditioner
Date: June 10, 2007 at 5:42 am PST
I recently had BKT and my hair is a bit dry. I am wondering if any of the stylists on the board could recommend a good in-salon conditioning treatment. I'm trying to stay away from protein as I find that dries my hair out. I'm looking into either Mizani (sp?), Redken Chemistry (the moisture or frizz formulas), or Kerastase Oleo-Relax. Any opinions on the effectiveness of these treatments and whether or not they would effect the BKT?
Also, I am wondering if there are any salons that do BKT in North Carlonia, Virginia, or Maryland.
And....does anyone know if Formadehyde is illegal in North Carlolina (in any form). A stylist at a salon in NC told me that she heard that it was.
