If you have come to this site on a web search for beauty or weightloss products -- please do not call us to ask about those products. We do not sell them!
We recently have been receiving many phone calls and emails from people who read posts about a particular product on these discussion boards, and then call us because they think we may somehow sell or be involved with that product.
We only sell Lamas Beauty shampoos and skincare products. For a listing of products we sell, please visit our homepage.
Please do not call us about other products that people may talk about on these discussion boards. Our Customer Service department will not be able to discuss any products with you other than Lamas Beauty products. While people here may discuss or express opinions about other beauty or weightloss products, we have no information or connection with any products but our own, so please do not call us about those other products.

I would tend to believe that if there will be stylists out there doing the BKT without any training, we will begin to read the same type of horror stories that we read every day about TR's.
If a stylist has not been trained to iron the hair the correct way, severe damage can occur. This is possible with TR and BKT. Remember the BKT iron is much hotter than the TR iron.
Now, can that training be accomplished by a DVD? I suppose it can if the stylist is already accomplished at TR.
I for one, love the BKT and find a huge demand for this service. My highlighted clients could not be happier.
Throughout my career, I have found that a DVD is not the best, most efficient way to learn any process.
I do not believe that the BKT process needs the intensive training that a TR process needs, but to perform it properly and beautifully on clients, it does require training.
Many who choose to purchase a product, using only a DVD will eventually "get it", after trial and error. The trained stylist will know how to perform the service properly and safely, from day one.
I am a professional and I strongly believe in proper training and education in the use of ANY product I use on a clients head, whether that be a perm, relaxer, hair color, BKT thermal reconditioning, etc.
Every day we see the results of bad coloring done by stylists who were not properly trained.
Education and training is the key to finding the best stylist no matter the service.
The cost of any of the education I have done has been brought back to me by the multitude of clients that I am honored to work on. Education and training is NEVER a waste of money.
