If you have come to this site on a web search for beauty or weightloss products -- please do not call us to ask about those products. We do not sell them!

We recently have been receiving many phone calls and emails from people who read posts about a particular product on these discussion boards, and then call us because they think we may somehow sell or be involved with that product.

We only sell Lamas Beauty shampoos and skincare products. For a listing of products we sell, please visit our homepage.

Please do not call us about other products that people may talk about on these discussion boards. Our Customer Service department will not be able to discuss any products with you other than Lamas Beauty products. While people here may discuss or express opinions about other beauty or weightloss products, we have no information or connection with any products but our own, so please do not call us about those other products.

Thank you.

Subject: Why no protein based products after a TR?
Date: April 22, 2007 at 10:03 pm PST

I was told that it is bad to use any shampoo or conditioner that has protein in your hair after a TR. So that means, no protein in the shampoo, conditioner, or after-care products.

My questions:
1)Don't most products for dry, or chemically treated hair have protein in it?
2)Why is it bad to use?
3) What will happen to my hair if I use a protein based shampoo, and conditioner?

I had a iStraight TR done. I have a small budget so I couldn't afford to buy all of the hair products they recommend afterwards, especially when I have previously bought expensvie products that are still full.

I currently use a Kerastase shampoo, and conditioner. For protection from blowdrying, and flat iron I combine the Kerastase Lait Nutri-Sculpt and Oleo Relax.

My hairdresser told me not to condition my hair, and only shampoo just to be safe for the first few washes, but I am going insane, and need to put some conditioner in it.

Any helpful advice would be great!
