PLEASE READ:

If you have come to this site on a web search for beauty or weightloss products -- please do not call us to ask about those products. We do not sell them!

We recently have been receiving many phone calls and emails from people who read posts about a particular product on these discussion boards, and then call us because they think we may somehow sell or be involved with that product.

We only sell Lamas Beauty shampoos and skincare products. For a listing of products we sell, please visit our homepage.

Please do not call us about other products that people may talk about on these discussion boards. Our Customer Service department will not be able to discuss any products with you other than Lamas Beauty products. While people here may discuss or express opinions about other beauty or weightloss products, we have no information or connection with any products but our own, so please do not call us about those other products.

Thank you.

Claudia, the stylist who did my daughter's TR recommended the Sleek.look, too. I used Matrix Sleek.look for a couple of years before I learned about the Redken products on this board. It was so-so (better than anything I'd tried before it), but with the Redken Smooth Down line, I am able to blow dry and iron my hair and get it completely straight and shiny, even though I am 10 months into growing out the hydroxide relaxer I used to use on my hair - which, if you saw my hair in its natural state, you'd consider a miracle! (I'm planning to get TR in June.)

I am currently using the Smooth Down conditioner on my new growth and the All Soft Heavy Creme on the ends of my hair that were processed with the hydroxide relaxer - it makes them soft, and I'm seeing less breakage. It turns out that my daughter doesn't need the Heavy Creme - we tried it for a while after her Optismooth TR (after the Sleek.look failed to give good results), but then we switched to the All Soft Conditioner, and it works much better for her. One stylist told me (not the one who did the TR but the one at the salon where I bought the Redken) that overconditioning can make the hair feel and look bad, too. She also said it could lead to breakage. That's why we backed off the Heavy Creme and switched to the conditioner. Her hair feels silky and soft with it, not weighed down like it did with the Heavy Creme.
