If you have come to this site on a web search for beauty or weightloss products -- please do not call us to ask about those products. We do not sell them!

We recently have been receiving many phone calls and emails from people who read posts about a particular product on these discussion boards, and then call us because they think we may somehow sell or be involved with that product.

We only sell Lamas Beauty shampoos and skincare products. For a listing of products we sell, please visit our homepage.

Please do not call us about other products that people may talk about on these discussion boards. Our Customer Service department will not be able to discuss any products with you other than Lamas Beauty products. While people here may discuss or express opinions about other beauty or weightloss products, we have no information or connection with any products but our own, so please do not call us about those other products.

Thank you.

I'm not a professional hairdresser, I'm a professional businessperson.

You CAN highlight after TR but once you TR again the highlighted pieces do not process as well generally. They need extra protection and can easily either not straighten or become damaged.

yes, I've highlighted after TR but most women I know use bleach.. my hair can lighten with peroxide but I'd want to do it regularly and regularly using 40 volume on your hair AND doing TR is NOT a good idea. I can lift with 20 or 30 but not to the level I'm looking for.

I don't work for BKT. I don't work in the hair industry. I've just been having TRs done since 2002, have been blonde and like it! My natural hair is a golden level 7.

I want the option of growing these out curly. With BKT I can keep BKTing and getting haircuts and some point it will wash out and I'll have my waves..not that freakshow thing you get when a TR grows out.

Plus, I can get highlights more than once a year with BKT..the more porous, the longer it will last.

Do you really think someone should be doing 40 volume peroxide or bleach every couple of months and then throwing their hair over to TR?

I know of iRepair. Trio used it on me YEARS ago after a TR fry job. They didn't use the hot iron with it because they were afraid to use the iron on my hair after it was so over processed.

My hairdresser uses iStraight and iRepair at her salon.

I know I like blonde hair and I know I like my waves. This is why I want BKT. Because eventually after bkts and haircuts I'll want blondish wavy hair. No TR can offer that.

Also, I understand BKT can give you better volume. With the Liscio new light method I got waves but not volume. Drowned rat with a wave somewhere mixed in. I don't like the flat straight hair. That seems unnatural to me. Most white girls don't have Asian hair. We have some level of volume. I LIKE that.

Really I only liked TR for no frizz. Cold process OptiSmooth did nothing for my hair.

BKT seems to offer me the option of being blonde, and eventually washing out to wavy. This is what I want.
