LamasBeauty.com | Back to Discussion Board
If you have come to this site on a web search for beauty or weightloss products -- please do not call us to ask about those products. We do not sell them!
We recently have been receiving many phone calls and emails from people who read posts about a particular product on these discussion boards, and then call us because they think we may somehow sell or be involved with that product.
We only sell Lamas Beauty shampoos and skincare products. For a listing of products we sell, please visit our homepage.
Please do not call us about other products that people may talk about on these discussion boards. Our Customer Service department will not be able to discuss any products with you other than Lamas Beauty products. While people here may discuss or express opinions about other beauty or weightloss products, we have no information or connection with any products but our own, so please do not call us about those other products.

The top portion of your hair could have been a resistant area. It is perfectly fine to ask her to re-do that area.
Since you never did much to your hair before your thermal straightening, it will take a bit of time to get used to your style. If it is an issue with using the iron, practice with the iron cold, not plugged in. You must use heat protection when ironing, and follow the comb so you do not iron tangeled hair. Ironing tangeled ends always makes them look fried, even when they are not.
There should not be a problem with blending your layers. Sometimes that "off look" is caused because the stylist parts your hair in a different way or in a different location. I will generally part hair on an angle.
I also comb the hair back from the top of the head, to create more height, and my clients do not. We always work on that issue. Having a bit of height creates a better profile. Angle parts can create the illusion of height.
If you don't get it in a week, ask your stylist to help. I will, if necessary, have my clients come in with their brushes, blowdryer, irons etc. and we will have a class. It sure helps them to get just how to position the dryer and iron.
Any good stylist who wants to keep your business should be happy to help you. After all, you are their best advertisement and they WANT you to look good.
