If you have come to this site on a web search for beauty or weightloss products -- please do not call us to ask about those products. We do not sell them!

We recently have been receiving many phone calls and emails from people who read posts about a particular product on these discussion boards, and then call us because they think we may somehow sell or be involved with that product.

We only sell Lamas Beauty shampoos and skincare products. For a listing of products we sell, please visit our homepage.

Please do not call us about other products that people may talk about on these discussion boards. Our Customer Service department will not be able to discuss any products with you other than Lamas Beauty products. While people here may discuss or express opinions about other beauty or weightloss products, we have no information or connection with any products but our own, so please do not call us about those other products.

Thank you.

Subject: Help! 1st wash after TR--YUCK!
Date: April 10, 2007 at 12:32 am PST

I am so unhappy. I had my 1st TR on Wednesday 4/4/07, and it looked fabulous afterward.

I washed it for the first time today, and I have 3 main problems that are driving me crazy--all of which I will address with the salon, but I'd still like advice/help!

1) There's a section of hair near the top of my head that still has several waves, and it looks strange b/c it's not in balance with the rest of the hair. Should I ask it to be redone? Is that possible without damaging everything else? Did I expect too much?

2) The stylist gave me long layers, and now that it's broom-straight, it looks choppy & terrible at the back. There's a big cut-off chunk that needs serious blending. While I can ask her to blend that particular area, I wonder what you think about long layers in TR'd hair?

3) I cannot get the look the stylist accomplished! I am a total dolt with a straightening iron & round brush, and frankly, I thought the point was to spend LESS time on my hair, not more! With my curly hair, I just put gel in and let it sit. It didn't look great, but it was done.

Now I've washed it twice today to try to style it. I've used $100 worth of shampoo & conditioner products (Bumble & Bumble), put in an expensive oil, finger-combed while using the dryer on low, used the round brush and dryer to TRY to curl up the ends after ~90% of my hair was dry, used a straightening iron all over, and I can't make it look good.

I can't get the ends to get all flippy & cute like the stylist did, so I have the "broom" look regardless of all my work. I feel like a clumsy moron trying to wield these tools with which I am totally inexpert.

The only positive thing I can say is that my hair still feels pretty soft, but it looks like hell to me. I regret doing the TR!!

What can I do? HELP!
