If you have come to this site on a web search for beauty or weightloss products -- please do not call us to ask about those products. We do not sell them!
We recently have been receiving many phone calls and emails from people who read posts about a particular product on these discussion boards, and then call us because they think we may somehow sell or be involved with that product.
We only sell Lamas Beauty shampoos and skincare products. For a listing of products we sell, please visit our homepage.
Please do not call us about other products that people may talk about on these discussion boards. Our Customer Service department will not be able to discuss any products with you other than Lamas Beauty products. While people here may discuss or express opinions about other beauty or weightloss products, we have no information or connection with any products but our own, so please do not call us about those other products.

It is possible that your daughters hair is the best it can be. It is hard for me to make that call without knowing all of the details about her hair.
If her hair was in good condition then it is possible that the results could have been a bit better.
My guess is that her hair, even though in "virgin" state, was dry and her texture was a bit on the thin side. The term "virgin hair" is so over rated. Her hair, unless it is short, is not virgin. If she spent anytime in the sun, chlorine pools, or used a hot blow dryer/iron, the hair was not in "virgin" state. All of those things effect the hair's internal structure as well as the cuticle. People think that if their hair has not had any chemicals on it, then it is virgin, not so.
We are in a hard place sometimes. We cannot leave the strong chemicals on long enough to eliminate all of the curl because the hair does not have enough integrity to keep the chemicals on that long. Therefore, we have to take the chemicals off and try to do the rest with ironing. There is only so much the ironing can do at this point. Then... if we iron too much, the hair is dry and hard.
So the answer is no, it is not always possible to get every head of hair perfect.
If someone comes in with a perfect head of hair, we can do a perfect thermal. There are very few perfect heads of hair.
Most thermal reconditionings do require some finish product and a bit of light ironing.
All in all it sounds like your daughters hair turned out pretty well. If there is anything extra that can be done to "tweak" the results, the stylist has probably already noted that and can try to improve on the results at touch up time.
She should continue to take care of her hair properly, every day!
Sometimes people start to neglect their hair because it is so much easier to control/handle. That makes it very difficult for us to do the touch up, and have the hair look it's best.
Some people are now adding a Brazilian Keratin Treatment to their hair after a TR. It could be done a week after a TR. A BKT on top of a TR could be the answer to taking her hair the rest of the way without any additional chemicals, just additional money.
