Subject: The "best" result from TR?

Is it true that, no matter what type of hair you have, TR can *always* result in soft, silky, shiny, wash-and-go hair if the top products are used by the best experts? My daughter got her first one done (Optismooth) in March, and she still has to iron her hair to make it look nice. When she just blows it dry, it's mostly straight, has a lot less volume and doesn't seem damanged at all, but the hair looks kind of "rough" and not shiny or silky (even with professional products on it). After a light ironing, it looks beautiful - sleek, shiny, and silky soft - and holds the style until the next time she washes it. Just wondered if our results are the best we can expect from a TR for her type of hair or if a different product would have produced a different result. Her hair was very kinky, frizzy and extremely resistant to the chemicals. There had never been any chemical processing of any kind done on her hair before the TR - it was virgin hair. For the record, our results are pretty much what we were told to expect by the stylist - that is, that it would be mostly straight when blown dry or allowed to air dry and that a light iron would give it the silky, shiny finish.
