LamasBeauty.com | Back to Discussion Board
If you have come to this site on a web search for beauty or weightloss products -- please do not call us to ask about those products. We do not sell them!
We recently have been receiving many phone calls and emails from people who read posts about a particular product on these discussion boards, and then call us because they think we may somehow sell or be involved with that product.
We only sell Lamas Beauty shampoos and skincare products. For a listing of products we sell, please visit our homepage.
Please do not call us about other products that people may talk about on these discussion boards. Our Customer Service department will not be able to discuss any products with you other than Lamas Beauty products. While people here may discuss or express opinions about other beauty or weightloss products, we have no information or connection with any products but our own, so please do not call us about those other products.

It doesn't matter if the price is cheap or expensive. It is imperative to do your homework on the person performing the TR. If they do not have pictures of before and after of clients they have done, this should send up a red flag. Any stylist who is serious about becoming an expert at this process will know you need this information, and will gladly give it to you. They should also offer the names and numbers of clients to call and give a recommendation.
A stylist could be new at this process and therefore be offering a cheaper product, price. Perhaps they have had little or no training. Whatever the situation, they should be upfront and tell you. Then you can make an informed decision whether you want to give them a try, or find someone with more experience.
Just because they say they are experienced does not make it so.
Some companies do extensive training and a stylist who is well trained and certified can be a beginner at this process and produce very nice work. This is not the type of process where one should learn as they go. There are way to many things that can go wrong. If a stylist does not have a clue, things can go terribly wrong.
Hair Straightening is a very specialized service and should only be performed by a stylist who has received extensive training and has knowledge of the internal structure of the hair, and how the hair can and will react to those chemicals.
Any type of hair straightening, Japanese thermal, Brazilian Keratin, Chemical Relaxers, Curl reducers, requires a professional trained in that process, not a hairstylist who has a cosmetology license by the state. It is not enough.
Please take your time in deciding who will do this for you. Find the best possible person. This is not always the most expensive person either!
