If you have come to this site on a web search for beauty or weightloss products -- please do not call us to ask about those products. We do not sell them!

We recently have been receiving many phone calls and emails from people who read posts about a particular product on these discussion boards, and then call us because they think we may somehow sell or be involved with that product.

We only sell Lamas Beauty shampoos and skincare products. For a listing of products we sell, please visit our homepage.

Please do not call us about other products that people may talk about on these discussion boards. Our Customer Service department will not be able to discuss any products with you other than Lamas Beauty products. While people here may discuss or express opinions about other beauty or weightloss products, we have no information or connection with any products but our own, so please do not call us about those other products.

Thank you.

Subject: Is BKT o.k. for hair that has been damaged by too much protein
Date: April 1, 2007 at 7:56 am PST

My hair was damaged by a bad TR 6 months ago and I think I may have made it worse by doing too many protein treatments afterwards. Now it is very elastic and is snapping off when wet. Two weeks ago, I got BKT and although it is straighter and shinier, it is still breaking off.

I would like to continue doing the BKT, but I'm concerned about putting even more protein on my hair. Not sure if it is the TR, the protein treatments, or the BKT that did the damage. I don't think there were any other major changes in the last 6 months(meds., water etc.) Any opinions on this?

Also, does anyone on the board use Davines color? Any opinions on whether this color is more damaging than others on the market?

And -- any opinions on whether leaving color on the hair for 45 minutes can be damaging. Does the color continue to process, or does it stop after a certain point?
