If you have come to this site on a web search for beauty or weightloss products -- please do not call us to ask about those products. We do not sell them!
We recently have been receiving many phone calls and emails from people who read posts about a particular product on these discussion boards, and then call us because they think we may somehow sell or be involved with that product.
We only sell Lamas Beauty shampoos and skincare products. For a listing of products we sell, please visit our homepage.
Please do not call us about other products that people may talk about on these discussion boards. Our Customer Service department will not be able to discuss any products with you other than Lamas Beauty products. While people here may discuss or express opinions about other beauty or weightloss products, we have no information or connection with any products but our own, so please do not call us about those other products.

Getting a BKT is an alternative choice. It is hard to have everything. Color/highlights etc make it more difficult to do a TR and to have good results. A BKT is a great system to use on those heads of hair that are not healthy. For those clients who still want those bleached highlights. It is great for those abused heads of hair. It is also great for the client who needs to ease up on styling/ironing their hair so they can get it healthier and then have a TR.
I would not suggest a BKT to a client with a healthy head of hair. I would suggest it to them if they wanted to "try" straight hair. Not change it permanently. Or for someone who wants it straight for an occassion or vacation.
I will still suggest a TR to clients who want permanently straight hair, if their hair is healthy enough to get good results. On those bad heads of hair, a BKT is the way to go.
As far as price, I adjust my prices depending on the length and thickness or abundance of the hair.
With a TR I also have to take into account the degree of curl and the condition of the hair.
The average time between TR's is 6 months. The average time between BKT's is 3 months.
The cost will work out to be about the same per year for my clients.
