Subject: For Denise, TR results after first wash

Sorry this is going to be a long message!
Admittedly my hair is staighter than before but it is still slightly frizzy and still has some waves after the first wash. It appears dry and doesn't have shine like it did after my earlier TR. If I try to twirl a hair around my fingers as if to curl it, the curl stays. When I had my hair TR'd earlier, it was bone straight and very shiny, the curl would never stay. When I asked the stylist, she said "this is a better TR, because you can even curl your hair if you like" - HELLO?! Is this why I got it TR'd in the first place?!
Anyway, she will not admit it hasn't turned out right and she said the good news was there was no damage. For the dryness and frizzies she recommended using Schwarzkopf Bonacure Hairtherapy Repair Rescue Treatment (apparently it is a conditioning treatment you apply after shampooing and leave it in for 20 minutes then rinse out) once a week, she said to always use an anti-frizz serum before drying hair and a gloss serum spray after drying.
I plan to go show my hair to another stylist who does TR (she's new, not as experienced as my stylist) to get her opinion, but I personally think the TR is underprocessed.
You have been so kind to me, Denise, now could you please also advise me on what to do under these circumstances? E.g., should I repeat the TR? When? How to make my hair look nice, and to prevent / repair damage? I am graying, so need to colour my hair too, but I don't want to go back to my stylist for the gloss treatment. Is there anything I can use myself at home? When?
Thank you for being there for me, I wish I could fly to Denver, Colorado, to see you!
