Subject: Denise - question(s) about digital perm...
Date: February 25, 2007 at 3:58 am PST

I have seen a digital perm being performed and the results on naturally very straight hair, but I am still confused what the results would be on very curly hair. If your hair is naturally curly/frizzy are the results smooth curls when "air-dryed" even with humidity, etc.? I have been getting TR's for awhile now and am thrilled with the results. I have shiny, straight, damage-free hair that I can air dry. I however am starting to miss some curls and wonder if it doesn't make sense to grow my hair out and opt for a digital perm instead, but I'll only consider this if I will not be going back to any frizz (note that I do not have to intervene with any heat products with my TR - sometimes a flat iron if I want a bit more shine but that is all). Also, do I need to completely grow out my current TR (I am at 11 months post-TR and in desperate need for a re-touch) or can the digital perm be applied over previously TR'd hair? Thanks in advance for your answer.
