If you have come to this site on a web search for beauty or weightloss products -- please do not call us to ask about those products. We do not sell them!

We recently have been receiving many phone calls and emails from people who read posts about a particular product on these discussion boards, and then call us because they think we may somehow sell or be involved with that product.

We only sell Lamas Beauty shampoos and skincare products. For a listing of products we sell, please visit our homepage.

Please do not call us about other products that people may talk about on these discussion boards. Our Customer Service department will not be able to discuss any products with you other than Lamas Beauty products. While people here may discuss or express opinions about other beauty or weightloss products, we have no information or connection with any products but our own, so please do not call us about those other products.

Thank you.

I took the plunge - and yesterday I got Keratin hair straightening treatment done. I was super nervous - but so far I'm THRILLED with the results!

I have half curly/half straight heavily highlighted, fine hair to a few inches below my shoulders. In the South Florida humidity it was always a challenge to blow out my hair and flat iron it. Once the process was done, I didn't want to do anything that might mess up my hair.

My stylist recommended this treatment for my hair because I couldn't stand wearing it wavy. After some research and some reassuring emails from people who have had it done, I decided to go for it.

So, last night I had it done. I hadn't washed my hair in a couple days, so the first step was a washing with a clarifying shampoo, no conditioner. He used a blowdryer for a couple minutes to get the excess water out.

Then, he sectioned off my hair and began to apply the solution. The smell was a little intense at times, but not much worse then hair dye or a perm. The solution made it easy for him to comb through my hair. Then he blew it out, just using his hands to style it. Next came the flat iron. He resectioned my hair and used a super hot iron to get my hair pin straight.

The total process took just under 2 hours. When I left the salon, it was very windy outside, but my hair didn't lose its shape whatsoever. It fell right back into place.

The hardest part for me will be not being able to pull my hair back or wash it until Monday. I will keep everyone updated on how it goes. If anyone has any questions, please don't hesitate to email me at loveshine1@yahoo.com
