If you have come to this site on a web search for beauty or weightloss products -- please do not call us to ask about those products. We do not sell them!
We recently have been receiving many phone calls and emails from people who read posts about a particular product on these discussion boards, and then call us because they think we may somehow sell or be involved with that product.
We only sell Lamas Beauty shampoos and skincare products. For a listing of products we sell, please visit our homepage.
Please do not call us about other products that people may talk about on these discussion boards. Our Customer Service department will not be able to discuss any products with you other than Lamas Beauty products. While people here may discuss or express opinions about other beauty or weightloss products, we have no information or connection with any products but our own, so please do not call us about those other products.

First I have to say that I am sorry you did not get good results. Is it safe to do again? I couldn't tell you. If the stylists took short cuts on the ironing, they probably didn't do other steps of the procedure properly. Perhaps they did not rinse the chemicals enough, got chemicals on the scalp, dented the hair at the scalp, there are so many things that they could have done wrong.
It sounds like they did not have proper training and little or no experience, hence the lower cost and poor results. Hopefully they did not do more than to underprocess / under iron your TR. If they did, you will soon see hair breaking off.
Highlighted hair is tricky to work with. I protect each highlight with a protection cream. I section out the highlights, one at a time, to do this. The highlights are also ironed more quickly than the rest of the hair.
The results are not perfect on highlighted hair, but, if done properly, the styling time is cut down dramatically. HOWEVER, if done wrong, the highlighted hair will burn, fry, break.
If I were you, I would speak to the stylist who did this. Set up an appointment to discuss the results. Show them your issues. I would not have them redo the TR. You need to find someone with more experience.
If there is damage, I would expect them to repair the hair at no cost to you. They should also provide the proper products for you to use at home. And...depending on the final results, refund your money or a portion of it.
It is not fair to a client to expect perfect, flat, straight, silky hair, and get different results. I know what to expect with my clients, and I am completely honest with them about the results that they can expect. So many people come to me with bad color issues that I must help them straighten out before they can get a really good TR.
The secret to a good TR is to take the time to properly prepare and process the hair, even if it means processing some sections and rinsing then processing others.
