If you have come to this site on a web search for beauty or weightloss products -- please do not call us to ask about those products. We do not sell them!

We recently have been receiving many phone calls and emails from people who read posts about a particular product on these discussion boards, and then call us because they think we may somehow sell or be involved with that product.

We only sell Lamas Beauty shampoos and skincare products. For a listing of products we sell, please visit our homepage.

Please do not call us about other products that people may talk about on these discussion boards. Our Customer Service department will not be able to discuss any products with you other than Lamas Beauty products. While people here may discuss or express opinions about other beauty or weightloss products, we have no information or connection with any products but our own, so please do not call us about those other products.

Thank you.

Hi! Almost three years ago I had my hair straightened using the chi system. The stylist also highlighted my hair a week before I had it straightened. I loved the results, my hair was rail straight, i didn't have to use my straightener for months until my hair started getting frizzy again, but it was still straight. Recently I looked into getting it done again but was worried because I had my hair relaxed about nine months ago(which didn't work) and colored about 16 months ago plus it was like $450 dollars last time I did it. But I found a salon that did it for $300 dollars and said that it was okay that i had had it relaxed and colored. Both stylists said I had the perfect hair for straightening because it is wavy/loose curls and coarse. Thursday morning they did it and it only took 3 hours, the chemicals weren't on my hair for very long, and each time the stylist straightened my hair with the flat iron it only took her maybe five minutes in big sections whereas at the other place it took her forever to iron it and she was meticulous about getting every little piece. It's now Sunday night and my hair is a little straighter than before but definitely still curler and frizzy, and seems to be getting more so everytime I wash it. And although I know you're not suposed to use tr on hair that has been relaxed or colored i feel like it shouldn't be like this. Even the part near my scalp which has never been relaxed or colored shows definite waves. I feel like the stylist messed up but what should I do? Is it safe to try to do it again? Am I wrong to think that the stylist should have to fix it at no charge? Should I even trust her with my hair?
