If you have come to this site on a web search for beauty or weightloss products -- please do not call us to ask about those products. We do not sell them!

We recently have been receiving many phone calls and emails from people who read posts about a particular product on these discussion boards, and then call us because they think we may somehow sell or be involved with that product.

We only sell Lamas Beauty shampoos and skincare products. For a listing of products we sell, please visit our homepage.

Please do not call us about other products that people may talk about on these discussion boards. Our Customer Service department will not be able to discuss any products with you other than Lamas Beauty products. While people here may discuss or express opinions about other beauty or weightloss products, we have no information or connection with any products but our own, so please do not call us about those other products.

Thank you.

Highlighting can sometimes dry out your hair a bit, especially when bleach is used. Some bleaches are better than others, and will have ingredients and aditives that will leave the hair in better condition.
Personally, I use the iColor system for my coloring to keep my clients hair in optimum condition. This is made by iStraight.
I use different bleaches for different results. So, what I am getting at is...perhaps your stylist is not using the best product for your hair. This can be true for not only bleach but color as well.
If all coloring is being done properly and you are maintaining with quality products at home, you should have no problems.

You should be using a high quality professional shampoo and conditioner designed for color treated or chemically enhanced hair. If you find that the shampoo conditioner combo is not enough, you should add an extra moisturizer to your routine once or twice a week. A nice leave in spray can help the slip of the hair and further protect your ends.
Remember to use heat protection before blow drying and ironing.

Some climates are much worse than others and here in Colorado we dry out really quickly. Not much humidity in the air and then we turn on the furnaces and you can hear out skin and hair crack.

My personal favorites for color treated hair is
Aquage color protecting shampoo and conditioner
adding the healing conditioner to the routine twice a week.
I also love the pureology line,it is pricy, but worth it.
