If you have come to this site on a web search for beauty or weightloss products -- please do not call us to ask about those products. We do not sell them!
We recently have been receiving many phone calls and emails from people who read posts about a particular product on these discussion boards, and then call us because they think we may somehow sell or be involved with that product.
We only sell Lamas Beauty shampoos and skincare products. For a listing of products we sell, please visit our homepage.
Please do not call us about other products that people may talk about on these discussion boards. Our Customer Service department will not be able to discuss any products with you other than Lamas Beauty products. While people here may discuss or express opinions about other beauty or weightloss products, we have no information or connection with any products but our own, so please do not call us about those other products.

OK, so........the first inch or two from the scalp is the worst
Broken and feels like steel wool
The middle section has strange kinky waves with broken hard feeling hair
Ends, the best, but still not great.
Without seeing your hair, I can only give you an educated, experienced guess.
I believe that the product DID get on your scalp.
I believe that the iron job was not done properly and most likely the iron had inconsistant heat, either the plates were old and damaged, or they were dirty, and/or the iron was of poor quality.
I also believe that the hair was not held at the proper angle when it was ironed, and that it was probably too wet. Did you hear it sizzle??
I believe that your hair was chemically over processed and that the chemicals were most likely not applied properly, spotty application, she probably grabbed too large of sections and the product did not penetrate some of the hair.
So, the fact that you still have hair is amazing. I have clients that come to me after they have had a bad TR. I have seen hair that looks like someone set it on fire. Very very scary. Much of the time, the hair is just gone, broken off in chunks.
The internal structure of your hair has probably been blown up. There is probably nothing left. You are doing all you can do. If you were in my chair, I would use Tanagra nano keratinization treatments.
At the very least I would use iRepair from iStraight. These treatments would help to replace some missing protein. Once some protein is replaced, your hair might retain some moisture.
It really sounds like you are doing the best you can, but when all is said and done, it needs to eventually be cut off.
You say that the stylist was nice etc. I would have her pitch in here to help. She should do regular treatments on your hair, for free. Trim it every 4 weeks, for free, and provide any special products you need to make it look better...FOR FREE.
Being gentle is good, and avoid blow drying with anything other than cool/warm air. Get the hair at least 75% dry before you use a brush.
I am so sorry this happened to you. Keep me posted and give me updates.
