If you have come to this site on a web search for beauty or weightloss products -- please do not call us to ask about those products. We do not sell them!
We recently have been receiving many phone calls and emails from people who read posts about a particular product on these discussion boards, and then call us because they think we may somehow sell or be involved with that product.
We only sell Lamas Beauty shampoos and skincare products. For a listing of products we sell, please visit our homepage.
Please do not call us about other products that people may talk about on these discussion boards. Our Customer Service department will not be able to discuss any products with you other than Lamas Beauty products. While people here may discuss or express opinions about other beauty or weightloss products, we have no information or connection with any products but our own, so please do not call us about those other products.

Subject: To Hairdressers regarding charging TR Models

When you use a model to learn a new TR system, do they get the service for free, or are they charged?
My hairdresser that does OptiSmooth has decided to switch to iStraight. She is going to get a class done by the Chicago distributor (Joseph gave me the info for the Chicago guy) and he told her the models all should pay for the service.
She asked him why she would charge a model when they are using a model to PRACTICE on? He said that models should pay for the service and anywhere from $600 to $1200 in Chicago.
We're in the suburbs and I know suburbs do not charge this.
I found that a bit strange myself. She will be seeking models and she said maybe then she'd charge them 1/2 price or something.
She's familiar with Optismooth but wants a better product. I recommended I Straight as I've had Optismooth and Liscio each once, and IStraight about 3 times or so and really liked IStraight best. I spoke with other women who felt the same way. Also, they have the Chicago distributor and training facility.
Anyway, do you find it odd that they told her to charge models? She said if she does she'll charge 1/2, pay for her class and then her product order with the balance.
Opinions on charging models for the service? Is this standard?
